Market Mapping Tutorial
Step 4 - Create 'Comments' and 'Shapes'
Within Market Mapping Software V2,
each map can support an unlimited number of Comments and Shapes.

Comments are used to append either headings or comments to the map.
They are created simply by clicking upon the 'Create Comment' button (above)
which is located on the toolbar, and appear as white rectangles with black borders.
|

Shapes are used to include coloured shapes and areas within the map.
They are created simply by clicking upon the 'Create Shape' button (above)
which is located on the toolbar, and appear as solid blue ovals.
|

Unlike Roots and Nodes, text is edited directly within a Comment. Double click the required Comment,
and key the text directly into the space provided. Note that no 'user defined' data is associated with Shapes, which
cannot therefore be edited.
The 'Properties' Dialogue

Properties of the Comment or Shape are changed by means of the 'Comment Properties' and 'Shape
Properties' dialogues respectively. To open the dialogue, select the required component and
click upon the 'Properties' button (shown above) on the toolbar. Properties such as shape,
orientation, colour etc. can now be changed at will.
